Humble is a small suburb that covers 10 square miles in the metro area of Huston. This small area is named after Smith Humble who was an early settler in the area. He later became a justice of the Peace and he was the one who opened the first post office in the area.

This area is a commercial town with awesome things to do.  The warm climate will allow you to enjoy different outdoor activities and even if you visit during the cold month of January, the temperatures are only as low as 41 F. However, if you love the indoors you won’t miss something to do at Humble.  Humble has a lot to offer and it speaks of humility in itself. Learn Humbles history at The Humble Museum

This museum will give you all you need to know about this town. It has information on the history of the city and artifacts that depict the history of Humble in terms of cattle, daily lives, churches, and lumber. The local residents donate most of the artifacts. The best thing is that you do not have to pay a dime to visit this place. There is no entrance fee.

Mingle with the pet animals at the old MacDonald farm

If you plan to visit Humble with your kids or family members then old MacDonald farm is the best place for a family outing. The children will have a chance to have pony rides, train rides and there is a petting zoo where they can mingle with the animals. You also get to feed the animals. You will enjoy your time especially if you are an animal lover.

Visit the Humble golf Centre and try a different kind of golf

Humble golf Centre offers foot golf that is a hybrid sport that combines golf and soccer. To play, you will use 21-inch golf cups and a soccer ball. The golf club in the area offers traditional golf and foot golf. If you love to try out new things try this new game and if you do not like it, you can enjoy the traditional form of golf. In the heart of Humble, you will find an upscale and cozy French concept. The executive chef at Chez Nous will prepare you with seared foie gras, do not forget to taste the rosemary crusted New Zealand rack of lamb and leave some room for the dessert cart. The place is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 5:30 to 10:00 pm.

The cypress trails equestrian Centre is perfect for a horse ride

Darolyn Butler who is an international endurance champion owns the ranch. The ranch offers endurance and pleasure horse rides and has a boarding stable. If you are looking for a scenic adventure on a horse ride, the ranch will offer such rides from $30 to $50 depending on the duration of the ride. The ranch also offers private lessons for a fee.

Visit Max Bowl or AMF Humble Lanes and knock down bowling pins

These two bowling centres will meet your bowling needs. Max Bowl has various facilities including a bar and grill, skywalk, and an arcade among other facilities. The AMF Humble Lanes Centre has the best in class bowling. It has an on-site pro shop, 32 all-star lanes, billiards, and an interactive arcade.
