Monkey’s Tail
If you are looking for a good Mexican-American bar, especially for cocktails, then this gem in Northside Village is the place to go to. It has an indoor-outdoor setup to suit all types of weather and also has an extensive draft system with up to 20 taps. Other than the drinks, they have cool games and some great furniture from Mexico, and even a dog-friendly patio. To add to all that, they have some very delicious burgers and pizza. Definitely worth checking out this year.
Kanaloa

The Hay Merchant

West Alabama Ice House

It has a lovely patio where you can just relax and drink your favorite drink as you interact with friends and family.
Johnny’s Gold Brick

Their list of cocktails isn’t wide, but the cocktails are top drawer. Ensure you especially try the fantastically named Thai Dolla $ign. They also have an excellent selection of beers to go with their cocktails and so much more, all of which you should make sure you explore this year.
OKRA Charity Saloon
Finally, this unique bar is the place to go to if you want to have a drink and at the same time donate to charity. It is a non-profit bar where its proceeds go to a different charity every month. The setting is great, with the exposed brick walls really adding to the ambience. Drinking has never felt this good especially since you know that it is all for a good cause.
