We have all skipped through the opening songs of our favorite anime occasionally. In fact, some never listen to the opening theme songs. However, even those with no patience to listen to the entire tune must admit that some of the animes have been defined by the kind of opening song the used. Hello, world! – Kekkai Sensen
The Kekkai Sensen show is quite weird. However, it is a good kind of weird. This world and even the plot does not make sense much of the time but the show creators understand this, and they manage to integrate the nonsensical feel and use it to increase the charm of the show. Surprisingly, the show turns out to be a lot of fun to watch. The opening of the show manages to represent all of that perfectly. The visuals combined with the upbeat and calming music and the vocals let you know not to expect the ordinary.
Resonance by T.M. Revolution in Soul Eater
The opening to Soul Eater on doubt gets you pumped for the events to take place in the series. However, it also ensures that it does not sound too serious. The use of the J-pop sound from T.M. Revolution’s Resonance is the perfect way to set the tone for this show about teenage grim reapers. It is a song that seems relatable to a group of teen girls that carry six-foot scythes and strange, unique bad boys but one to which you can pump iron.

Tank! Is an iconic a song as you can get in the world of anime. From the unmistakable saxophone and unmistakable trumpet to the perfect blending of hard bob beat and jazz, this tune gets you in the mood to watch an old-fashioned cowboy adventure set in space.

One of the reasons why this opening is so interesting is that you get to see Lelouch utilize his mind control power on the audience.
