Most people don’t like camping but this show will have you itching to get out there, it’s that good. Pop Team Epic

This adaptation of Okawa Bkub’s surreal manga is another one that was an absolute must watch this winter. Once again the storyline is enchanting with a healthy dose of humor that will have you laughing the winter blues away. Another one of this shows main selling point is the sheer number of star names that were voicing the show’s characters. You know it’s a special show when it can attract so many top of the line voice talent.

Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san

This one was like nirvana for all that like a mixture of comedy and romance. Takagi is clearly into Nishikata given how much he likes to tease her. Nishikata also tries to get back at her classmate but doesn’t always succeed. This is a cute and adorable show that will warm you inside as you battle with the wintry conditions outside.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments

Yet another excellent anime that was well received and did great numbers during winter. It’s the second television anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name, produced by A-1 pictures. It is centered around the Ten Commandments and it involves a powerful group of demon clan warriors that are looking to take over the kingdom of Leones. It was action packed this season which made for great television for its fans during the winter.

Overload II

This is a fantasy series that centers around Momonga as he attempts to figure out the mystery of Yggdrasil. This follow up to Overload from 2015 was a slow burner but ended up being one of the best anime this winter. It has enough action scenes to go with the humor that is delivered in a manner that doesn’t distract from the storyline, to make you glued to the screen all the way.

March Comes in like a Lion

Yet another excellent anime that was well watched during the winter. Set in Tokyo, the anime follows the everyday life of the 17-year-old Rei. We get to go on a journey alongside Rei as he matures as a person and as a player, he plays Shogi, while we also see how his relationship with the other characters develops. The show has got good drama in the storyline that makes it very watchable.

Black clover

This one is a magical shonen series that follows two boys as they battle for the position of Wizard King. The main character, Asta, was born without any magical powers which is something that is virtually unheard off in the world in which he lives but through sheer ambition and heart, you get to go with him along with his friends on the road to him looking to become a Wizard King. Its energy, action and comedy made it one of the best anime this winter.

Violet Evergarden

This anime pulled on our heartstrings all winter and definitely deserves to be among the best anime during winter 2018. The touching background of the main character Violet, as she tries to reintegrate back into society after the war in which she was a soldier. She has to try to fit in now that she is not a soldier anymore. The artwork and animation is also top drawer to go along with the excellent storyline.

A Place Further Than the Universe

This anime is about teen girls working hard to achieve their dreams, and the storyline ends up sending them into the ends of the earth, Antarctica to be precise. Watching the characters grow in character as the anime progresses is what helps make it such a compelling watch. An excellent anime that deserves to be regarded as being amongst the best during winter 2018.

Darling in the FranXX

Arguably one of the hottest anime during the cold conditions of the winter. The show’s excellent animation and graphics is the first thing that will strike you immediately you watch this anime. The show has numerous sub-plots and mysteries that slowly unravel as the anime goes along. This means that you will be coming back for more episode after episode.
