- Katsuki Bakugo
While Bakugo may always be in a nasty move, there can be no denying that his delinquent behavior has also won the hearts of the fanbase. As Deku’s primary rival, it is no surprise that the spotlight is naturally on him, and the two fuel each other to become the best heroes they can be.
- Eri

This is because, as if accidentally evaporating her father because of her unwieldy Quirk isn’t bad enough, her mother scorns her, and she is gaslighted by a member of the Yakuza to make Anti-Quirk serum. However, she is rescued in the end, proving that all is well that ends well.

All Might has always been popular, even before debuting. His quirky and unique character design easily makes him one of anime’s most iconic figures. Most fans actually think it is rather humiliating for a legend such as All Might to be a sideline character.

Driven to a fault, Enji Todoroki will try anything to usurp All Might as the number one hero, including hurting his family in some profound ways. He is the opposite of Izuku, consumed by the numbers and ratings, rather than doing good where he can like a superhero should.

According to mtglion.com, Himiko is everyone’s bad girl, and while she may have a few screws loose in her head, that doesn’t stop her from winning fans’ love. From the moment she made her debut to now, Himiko never failed to deliver with an over-the-top personality and villainous nature. She is notably one of the few villains in the show who has garnered such overwhelming support from fans.

Despite being introduced somewhat late to the series, Mirio has managed to garner a surprising amount of support from fans. However, this shouldn’t come as a surprise as he is a character with great depth, which is always valuable for any character.

Kaminari has managed to attract quite the following and it is easy to see why. This is because, not only is he a friendly, social, and energetic character, but he is also a comedy relief character. For many, Shoto Todoroki is hands down the best My Hero Academia character His character development is one of the reasons why he is so popular, especially when you consider his current state is nearly incomparable to his personality at the beginning of the series.
- Eraser Head
Shota ‘Eraser Head’ Aizawa is a resourceful hero, and one of the hardest teachers to please in UA High School. However, his lofty methods are all about making students recognize the high standards they should have for themselves.
- Izuku Midoriya
Popularly known as “Deku”, Izuku is the main protagonist of My Hero Academia and the man striving to be the No.1 Pro Hero. Many find Momo’s Quirk to be extremely cool. Not only is she extremely stunning and easy on the eye, but she is also a leader, super smart, and pretty powerful. Her character development is a lot of fun and many are excited to see how she develops going forward.

While Kota Izumi is only seen for a few episodes during the Forest Training Camp arc in the third season of the anime, he still managed to grow quite a bit as a character in that short period and grew quite the following while at it.
- Ochaco Uraraka
Ochaco Uraraka is one of the sweetest girls in Class 1-A and might very well be the most prominent female character in My Hero Academia. She has had a front-row seat in almost every event relevant to the overall story. Some argue that, besides the big three of Class 1-A, Ochaco is the class’s shiniest star.
- Tomura Shigaraki
As outlined at mtglion.com, Tomura Shigaraki is the heir to All for One’s throne as leader of the League of Villains, with the power to disintegrate everything you love. He is a complete nihilist who, upon concluding that destroying All Might may be too lofty, decides that bringing about the degradation of society is an easier target.

While Kirishima stood out from day one of the series, he never properly showcased his brilliance until the Shie Hassaikai Arc as revealed at mtglion.com. He should currently be considered a core figure in Class 1-A.
- Dabi
Dabi is Shoto’s brother, and the real negative side-effect of Enji’s desperation to outdo All Might. Where Shoto became alienated by their father’s drive, Dabi trained so hard that his body started giving out, leaving him with some intense scarring.
- Endeavor
The whole Todoroki family arc has been nuanced and filled with the great drama between Endeavor and his sons. The creators made sure to show that not all is forgiven when it comes to his past abuse, but there is space for forgiveness moving forward.
- Kyoka Jiro
With her punk-rock look and earphone jacks, it was no surprise that Kyoka ended up being a killer singer and musician. Her ability to not only hear opponents but also immobilize them with her vibrations is pretty cool.
- Tamaki Amajiki
As a part of U.A.’s “Big Three”, Tamaki has shown why he deserves to be in that elite group even if his social skills say otherwise. His “Manifest” quirk along with his fight IQ have shown why he is an amazing hero in the making.
- Nighteye
While it was tragic to see the loss of such an amazing character, especially since we didn’t get too much time with him in the show, we were lucky enough to get to see his “Foresight” quirk on display in that short time, which was amazing as per mtglion.com.
- Yugo Aoyama
Yugo has been in touch with where his quirk stands amongst some of the top students and has had some fabulous moments onscreen. This has not stopped him from trying to be on par with his classmates, which has given viewers some great moments when Class 1-A is in battle.
